I'm sure some of you have seen this article since it's a headline on Yahoo right now but I thought it was worth reading even if you are in a happy marriage.

I have a good marriage and still found that very interesting and will put some of it to use anyway. Thanks!

With the exception of a couple of minor, minor points the author makes, as an attorney, an adult child of divorced parents, grandparents and in-laws, I can't possibly agree with this article any more. If you are married, you MUST read this article.

Really good article - thanks for sharing! I wish a couple of my friends who are in ugly divorce proceedings now had read this. Sigh.

Such a comprehensive list and so many important points to consider for someone in a rough patch. My marriage is solid and reminders to maintain it keep it that way. TFS

Thanks for this! We're doing okay but I've noticed my DH has stopped being as affectionate and the touching is on serious decline. I've tried mentioning it to him before but it never registered until I showed him the article and he saw for himself that lack of touch is a warning sign. Hopefully this lasts longer than a week without me having to remind him again. :)

Huh, I wish my stupid BIL had read this before he decided he didn't like being married to my SIL, everything wrong in his life was her fault, cheated on her and left her & their 2 young kids.... :32:

Thank you for posting OP, definitely some things to pay attention to there.
