View Full Version : DH, chips are not a breakfast food!

We have a pantry full of cereal, granola bars, cereal bars. We have waffles, eggs, yogurt and fruit. But instead of any of that, he chooses to give DD2 chips!? And then acts surprised when he puts a cereal bar alongside and she barely touches it. Honestly. Where's the common sense???

Wait ~ chips as in potato chips or tortilla chips? Eek. (Could your DH possibly be trying to get out of breakfast/morning duty by doing it as poorly as possible?)

Good luck straightening out the breakfast routine!

I'd blow a gasket, if I were you. I did, when DH bought chips for DS with sandwich when they went fishing and DS was 7 at the time, so way older than your DD2. I do not want DS to eat chips and have taught him to say "no, thank you" to chips at social occasions (like after baseball game, but that's another post). DH can eat chips when he eats out, but not at home and can't share with DS. Maybe you should get rid of them, too, so that your DH does not do this again in the future.

Grrrrrrr. I'd be annoyed, too!
