BJCM handle padding split

My 2011 BCJM is almost a year and half, and it has seen lots of miles. I still love it, but recently the padded handle bar split. The padding is ribbed, and so a small tear began where I place my right hand. After a few days it split all the way and now the metal bar is exposed beneath. I know this has happened because of the torque and pressure from steering. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any way BJ could replace the padding? Thanks!

I would definitely email them and see about them sending you a replacement. I think it would be covered since it is a part of the frame, or strollair sells universal handlebar covers I think.

I've had really good luck with their customer service, just by calling. Definitely ask them!
