Mega Bloks

Are the little megabloks THAT terrible compared to lego? DS2 really wants some power ranger and spiderman "legos" but both of those are licensed by megabloks. Will I regret getting them? I'm sure the pieces will get mixed in with our existing legos. We have managed to be brand loyal so far.

They aren't terrible. My kids have some of both. They manage to keep them apart because they aren't compatible and it gets annoying. Mostly the megabloks are by my parents and the Lego is at our house. It makes things simpler.

DS got a super mega block last summer. Its not terrible, the directions aren't as clear. FWIW Lego has put out a bunch of super heroes lately, maybe your DS would be interested in some of those.
