2--that way you miss the church/i want to sleep in crowd and for those of us who have a creativity slump in the afternoon, it saves our bacon to have an activity for kids!

i would vote for 2 pm as well, 11:30 is middle of the day, 2:30 allows people to do things in the morning if they have to and then go to the party.

Church is not out in time for 11:30 party. I would choose 2.

I guess I am the lone 11:30 vote for now. We have mass either at 9am or 5pm on Sundays so 11:30 would not be a problem for us. I was thinking most people would like to get activities done and out of the way so they can relax for the rest of their Sunday. I don't think 2pm is a bad time though.

:yeahthat: Plus, you would have to provide lunch for a 11:30 party.

Depends on the crowd. If you have nappers, earlier is better. Later works if you have church attendees.
We'd be fine with either time as our service gets out early enough but I agree you need to feed them at 11:30 but not at 2 (just cake).

I actually have been seeing more Sunday birthdays lately.
Agree that 1130 has to include lunch.
I prefer 2pm for same reasons as other - can get stuff done in the AM.

I think 2 pm would be a better time in case the families go to church. We have done parties on Sunday at 3 pm before (due to nap time) and we have always had good attendance.

We aren't out of church in time for a 11:30a party (two services, Sunday School and church). By 6 I figure they don't need an afternoon nap so 2p should be great! Including time to get lunch.
We MIGHt choose to miss a service to go to a 11:30 party. but it would depend on who the party was for -- best friend vs classmate or such.

I'm in the same boat- I would personally rather have a party at 11:30 so I can get it over with and have the majority of the afternoon open. But I know a lot of people have church so I'm going to stick with 2-4. To me, 2-4 takes up the best part of the day, but it seems to be the most popular party time around here.
