I think i am in trouble with my daughter

I arrive at daycare Tuesday to drop off my just turned 2 dd when the teacher calls me over to tell me a story. Uh oh i am thinking as dd has recently been exploring her individuality. The teacher, Karen, tells me that she leaves every day at 3 after saying goodbye to the kids for 10 minutes, but always has to go back in the class room to get her water bottle and that when she does, she tells the kids, I'm just back for my water, i'll see you tomorrow as she runs in and out real quickly. Well, on Monday, as she was leaving, my dd yells her name 'Karen" a few times, Karen answers back 'I'll see you tomorrow' as she i trying to get out the door. My dd yells more emphatically, 'Karen ... Wait!!' Karen turns with one hand on the door and says, 'dd, what is it' When my dd replies 'Karen, don;t forget your water!!' And of course, she had.
