ever been to the delaware state fair?

we live in nova and recently i wanted to start going to state fairs! since de is close..i am thinking we can make the trip.

do you think it would be worth it with a 2.5 year old?

I have been there many times. How far is the drive? I wouldn't go more than an hour or two. Check out your county fair--a lot of fairs are held later in the summer and some even in fall. Check on your county and counties surrounding you. I don't think Delaware has a county fair because it is so small. My cousins showed there for years. YOu can often check to see the schedule for a certain day--e.g. go on the day your child's favorite animal is being shown so they see ALL the cows.
