Planning a party for 7 yr olds and need some fun summer water activities:

So far we have:

-water balloon toss
-pass the sponge (2 teams, pass a wet sponge from one bucket over head to to fill a bucket at the other end)
-A large plastic pool filled with water and foam shooters to fill buckets at different distances

Bucket Brigade (blanking on specifics but google should help)
Marble Toes- fill wash pans or buckets with icy cold water and stick a bunch of marbles at the bottom. Either by team or individual, they have 30 seconds to get as many marbles as possible.

BirthdayPartyIdeas.com had tons of great ideas when I planned ds1's water party.

At my party, the kids were on teams. Each team got x water balloons for the final battle but each game won earned them extra. That was fun. Also, I offered a prize for the mist balloon scraps picked up in the end. That worked great!!! That was an individual prize.

Drip, Drip, Drop-
Like duck, duck, goose. Give a small cup of water, you put a drip on someones head (duck) and you dump the cup on someones head for goose.

I've frozen big hunks of ice in random containers to play with as they melt.
