Diagnose Me: Swollen/Itchy Under Eye

I woke up with under my eye swollen and itchy. Any idea what it might be? My opthomologist is not in on Sundays :thumbsdown: and I need to get this treated asap. Can I go to an optometrist for something like this?

Ha - I was thinking that especially since I saw a mosquito flying around my room last night but I don't think thats what it is.

Could it be eczema? I had that happen to me once. Eucerin improved it.

I was thinking eczema, too. I get that on certain small patches on my face from time to time, including under my eyes.

Contact allergy of some kind? Were you working in the garden yesterday and maybe rubbed your eye after working with a plant? (I am allergic to grass and to azaleas for example. So I would get hives on my arms if I worked around the azaleas with short sleeves on. New eye cream? New soap? New make up?
