Besides Athleta and Lands End, what do the curvier mamas on here love?

I spluged and got tow Athleta suits two summers ago because I was tired of hating all of my suits (which had more to do with not liking my weight and lack of tone than anything). I'm happy to say I have the "problem" of them being too big to even consider wearing now. I am willing to spend around $75-100 for something I feel good in. I am curvy (always have been) and busty. I must have support on top. I am really trying to be optimisitic that I'll be down another 10-15lbs next summer so I don't want to spend more than that.

Title Nine?

My days of pool lounging are few and far between, so now I look for something I can really swim in. I really like Title Nine (and Athleta). Title Nine runs a little bigger than Athleta, I think, but their tops are longer, so I like that. I wore J Crew and CK suits pre kids.

ETA:

I really, really dislike LE suits. I can never get them to fit right.

I bought a suit at swimspot.com (http://www.swimspot.com/) last spring and loved it. They have a TON of suits and organize them by body type too.
Besides that, I love Athleta. I bought two great suits on their sale page last month and got both suits for $90 total. Not sure how picked over the sale page is at this point though but would be worth checking out.

Don't forget zappos! They have tons of swimsuits and free returns! I really like the Michael Kors line as well as the zappos house line (I think it's called Alejandra Sky). I got an AS skirted bikini and I absolutely love it. It was only $60 on sale last summer!

I know it sounds crazy, but I bought that Robin Piccone suit from Norstroms that had been posted around here (the one with the lace cutouts). I fell in love with it. I am a size 16-18, depending on the cut so I thought no way. But I tried on the largest size they had - 12 - and it fit beautifully. I feel great in it.

Shoshanna, but I have to size up for bottoms. And once you know your sizing (my first set came from Saks and NM sales last year), you can try your luck on eBay. I just got one NWT for >$30 incl. shipping.

This is the set I got last year. I paid ~$35 for it and $25-30 for the bottom, I think:

And the bikini I got recently is made from the same fabric as in the link below, but in the same style as above:

No joke.

I would like a longer top so I'll add title nine into my rotation. I already have my eye on dress from there so another excuse to order I guess!

I just ordered $400 worth of suits from Lands End with the intention of keeping one and returning the rest. They haven't let me down in the last 5 or so years, so I'm hoping one's a keeper!

Last year I got a couple separates from Gottex:

I don't see the ones I bought in this list though Zappos or someplace else might have them....

They have some great looking suits there! Seems like a great alternative for someone wanting something different than the sportier Athleta and LE styles.

I've had both pricey swimsuits (Panache - for my ridiculous 28E nursing boobs) and cheap suits. I'd have gone with Panache again, but now I'm a 28C and they don't make the smaller cup sizes with the smaller band sizes (which seems SO counterintuitive) but they have good suits for larger busts.

Anyway my current swimsuit (tankini top) is from Target and I love it because it ties at the neck AND the back so I could get a size medium to accomodate my boobs but tie it tight enough in the back and neck for support. AND it's long enough! I pair it with J Crew swim bottoms (A high-waisted ruched style). J Crew swimsuits are really nice (that's all I wore pre-kids, bikinis) but their tankinis are just not adjustable (no tie at the back - only at the neck) so I can't wear their stuff anymore and they're not great in the support department (though I haven't tried any of their underwire ones).

I also had a LE tankini when my rib cage was still wider from carrying twins (and therefore was in a more normal size range) - beach living I believe. I loved that one too - the length was truly the best part.

I'm curvy (rib cage 28, bust 33, waist 27, hips 37) and these have worked great for me.

eta: someone here once posted about this one and I was very tempted to buy it - the customer pics are really helpful.

I love Freya, and Fantasie brands. I look on figleaves.com, barenecessities, com, and herroom.com

I like underwire tankinis. Those brands start at a D cup though and now I am at a C cup and they are too big on top a little. But I love the styles! I wish they made C cups.

I have a Lands End suit that I just don't love either. Have spent 4 yrs. trying to love it and I just don't. This year their suits look even more dowdy so I started shopping around.

This year I just bought this tankini suit (http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Womens-Swimwear/Bikinis-Tankinis/WB024/Womens-Retro-Tankini-Top.html) from Boden. The only thing that slightly bugs me about this suit is that the bottoms look huge when not put on, seriously huge and while I have a butt and hips (38) I thought they would be too big, and well they aren't, maybe a tad baggy (maybe this needs a :bag), but overall I really like the way the top fits and I can take out the extra padding and the top still fits fine.

Agree, I can't go back to non-bra sized swimwear now!

There are other similar sites, so if you like a particular suit, I would google it for pricing. Herroom.com has many of the same brands, and Linda's online is good also. I've ordered from all three!
