I am starting a home based business to help combat boredom (and hopefully make a little money). I imagine it will be more glorified hobby that profit making, however I would like it to look professional without spending a ton of money we don't have. I looked around Etsy and seems like there are some designers working for well under $100 to create custom designs. Anyone BTDT? I've looked at VistPrint, but I'm not crazy about what they offer. It's ok, but not "perfect"
Thanks to the suggestion of a BBB mamma, I'll be using weebly.com to build a website so I want to be able to upload a logo there and also use it on business cards. TIA!

There's always the free route. You can use a photo editor software or picasa to create yourself a banner for etsy or for a blog.

For uniformity just make sure the font you use in the logo is the same as the business cards.

Not perfect but you could do it for a few months and then have time to look into a paid set.

Thanks ladies, I'll look into both of those options. I'm short on time (and attention span!) so I was hoping for some BTDT with Etsy. I saw a few designers that were charging about $40. That seems super cheap, almost too good to be true. I will also check out the Apple stores list of classes and see if they offer anything like that.
