DS2 is turning 4 next month.

I'd get the Imaginext off CL, since it's discontinued.

I would totally get the Imaginext, it would be played with into grade school I don't think the life of Jake would be as long.

We got the imaginext one on black friday at kohls for a steal so my son got that one at christmas. He just turned 4. i'm thinking by next Christmas we will probable have added the jake one to our collection.

I'd get the Imaginext, too. But ... $129? Really?! I'm outta touch, man. But he's gonna be 2? Yeah, the other one is age-appropirate but not as good an investment for the longer term. Go Imaginext.

He's turning 4.

We have lots of Imaginext now, so that would be nice. He loves the Jake stuff though and it gets good reviews from parents of 4 and 5 year olds, which is why I'm wondering.

Yeah, $129 for something discontinued! $20 on Craigslist :).

Maybe I'll get the Imaginext one and get the figures from Jake. That might work perfectly, really. And I can put the talking spyscope on his list, because he'd love that.

We just got some of the Jake figures for my son's birthday the set with captain hook, tick tock crock and jake. They are currently living in the imaginext pirate ship.
