Really?! I think it was pretty commonly thought that he was gay even though he hadn't said so directly.

I don't pay attention to some media...guess that's obvious. I used to love that show "The Mole" where he hosted it and I really like him. But for a very long time, we didn't even have cable or satellite so really had no access to his show and don't remember much about him. Since we got satellite though, I have noticed he has his own show and I've seen some clips, but just didn't realize.

I thought that Anderson Cooper was out of the closet yrs ago, I like him, but remember my reaction being, "Why do good looking ones always end up being gay?" About Jim Parsons, I've always wondered if he was gay, but I agree with others. There is no way I would have pegged him to be 39, that's more shocking than the gay part. He looks to be in his mid-20's at the oldest. Good for him! I'm jealous. I wish I could pass for an early 20-something!

I honestly thought he already had made some sort of "announcement" before, oh well I guess it is for real now! I thought it was well done and I had not thought about the "danger" aspect of him being in war zones etc.
