Just wanted to share that there's a new book out (What Makes a Baby) that explains how ALL babies are made, including those that don't involve (to quote someone from another board I'm on) a night of bliss and a male and female partner who end up as the baby's parents :p. It seems many/most on these boards have created families in the "traditional" way but I'm sure folks know others who would be interested, or perhaps it could be a useful tool for anyone in the "there are all different kinds of families" conversation. I haven't received my copy yet but I've heard only good things so wanted to share - here's the trailer about it and the site for it:

That looks great.

T has read A Child is Born but I was previewing books on puberty and relationships for him today and I was really disheartened that even the best books make sex and gender out to be the same thing. I am going to give him The Boys Body Book now, return It's So Amazing and give him It's Perfectly Normal after J and I read it. This book definitely looks like something I wish had been available when he was younger. I think I will get it for F.
