I just flew this weekend alone with my 4 month old DD. Everyone I came across was *so* helpful and friendly! I had so many people offer to help me, both fellow travelers and airport/airline/TSA staff. Even though I didn't usually need the help, I was so appreciative people asked. So many people also said nice things to me. I didn't get one nasty glare or comment -- and the one time (thankfully only one!) my DD lost it and starting wailing on the plane, the person in the seat next to me made sweet faces at her to distract her, and when she stopped someone turned around and told me not to worry, flying is hard for babies, and I was doing an amazing job.
I just had to post here because the weekend just made me feel good about humans in general....it was nice to come across so many nice and helpful people!
