Angels at 9/11 Flight 93 site?

I found this moving, disturbing, and thought provoking. I think I need to read the book, but I do wonder, just from the article, if her vision was affected in some way by fumes? Or did she see particles in the air that had not settled yet?

Still, it is a beautiful image - real or not.

I believe in angels. I don't think i will read her book but I've been to the crash site and it's a very sad and beautiful place.
