I saw this today and fell in love. I am wondering if we used it as our kitchen table, would it scratch easily? It looked so shinny in the store and our kitchen is so dull and 80's. I just thought it would give our kitchen some dazzle.

Our builder installed a "cultured marble" vanity top in our DC's bath. While I'm not sure it's the same as that "faux stone", it does have some superficial scratches. More like swirl marks really. There hasn't been much wear and tear since its only the kids using it, but I didn't want it in the master where we use it more. Ours is more of a solid looking grey color and I think the scratches would be more hidden in a top with more movement like what you posted. I really think something like a table would have a lot more daily wear and tear though. I'd ask them if scratches can be buffed out or what they would suggest for repairing them.
