I am looking for some nice sheets for a king sized bed. Anyone have recommendations on where to get them?

I had bought several sets from Lands End and have been really disappointed as three of the sets have ripped in less than 3 years of summer use (we use flannel in the winter).

I just bought king-sized sets from Target. I have no idea how well they'll wear, but the price was right: $59.99. In the past, I've been happiest with Calvin Klein sheets in terms of how long they wear (last set that I had withstood heavy use for 10 years before tearing) but, I have no idea if CK sheets are still the same quality, and they sure are $$$$.

I have these and really like them. They're pretty new though so I don't know how they will hold up, but there are plenty of reviews about them.

Sonoma brand from Kohls. I have a set my mom gave us for Xmas about 3yr ago and I love them. I don't use any other sheets. I wash and put right back on my bed. They are probably 500 tc and sateen.

They might be these: http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/sonoma/homenew/bedding/PRD~c3599/SONOMA+life+++style+400Thread+Count+Sateen+Sheet+S et.jsp

We have a queen bed, but love the Kirkland Supima sheets (http://m.costco.com/?p=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5jb3N0Y28uY29tL0Jyb3dzZS9Qcm9kdWN 0Z3JvdXAuYXNweD9Qcm9kaWQ9MTE3NTY5MDEmc2VhcmNoPXZld XZlJnRvcG5hdj0mTW89MCZjbV9yZT0xX2VuLV8tVG9wX0xlZnR fTmF2LV8tVG9wX3NlYXJjaCZsYW5nPWVuLVVTJk5yPVBfQ2F0Y WxvZ05hbWUlM0FCQyZOPTUwMDAwNDMmd2hzZT1CQyZEeD1tb2R lJTIwbWF0Y2hhbGxwYXJ0aWFsJk50az1UZXh0X1NlYXJjaCZEc j1QX0NhdGFsb2dOYW1lJTNBQkMmTmU9NDAwMDAwMCZEPXZldXZ lJk50dD12ZXV2ZSZObz0wJnM9MSZOdHg9bW9kZSUyMG1hdGNoY WxscGFydGlhbCZOdHk9MQ%3D%3D). A close second is Macy's Hotel Collection 400tc sheets. I haven't bought the Costco sheets in about 4 yrs., and the Macy's ones in 7 yrs., but I am happy with the ones we have. The trick with the Macy's sheets is to not be stuck on a particular color, look in their clearance section and you will find some great bargains. The set we have is gold, which would not have been my first choice, but since they were more than 50% off it seemed like a no brainer to not get them.

We have two sets of Target ones from our wedding registry (7 years ago) and they are still holding up perfect, and we only use those two sets...

It seems like the only sheet set I can ever find at Marshalls and TJ Maxx etc are King. I have seen Ralph Lauren Sheets for super cheep, I have even bought them to cut up for projects because the price was so good. I do agree with PP about Costco sheets being great.

The Company Store. I love their sheets. They last forever. They aren't inexpensive but they do have good sales: http://www.thecompanystore.com/Sheets/clearance-sheets,default,sc.html. I also have two Costco sheet sets and I like my Company Store sheets better. My Costco sheets stretched out and are thinner.

I strongly advise against any Ralph Lauren bedding with color.

We bought this set http://www.amazon.com/Lauren-Ralph-Bedding-Indigo-Bedskirt/dp/B00804ZB5C several years ago and I now have a blue washing machine drum, blue mattress pad, and red top sheet (from the duvet). EVERYTHING irreversibly stained.

I bought two sets of new sheets at SAMs club. Just whatever brand they carry. I am impressed with the quality, they remind me of pottery barn, but at a fraction of the price and a more sturdy material.

We bought those sheets and a comforter. So far so good. It's the only place I could find a comforter that fit our bed and was under $100.
