I never thought this would be a tough one, but I'm having no luck.

I've tried:
-goo gone
-rubbing alchohol
-dreft stain remover (works on WAY more than I ever imagined possible)
-Another stain remover that I can't remember the name of....

I guess I haven't tried hairspray but IME rubbing alcohol has always worked better than hairspray.

What did I miss...or do I resign myself that the pair of shorts he's only worn 2x are destined to be play shorts?

THX!

I've had luck with Murphys Oil Soap. Read about it somewhere online and seemed to get the most out.

Thanks for the tip...I may actually have some, too! :) I wouldn't have thought of that one!

hair spray, dry erase marker remover works as well, but it fades the area a bit.

I am over the moon happy now the Crayola sells washable dry erase markers, $5.99 at TRUS, and Target. DD2 is quite the little tagger.

Thanks for the Murphy's Oil Soap rec. too.

Same here. We had to do a few rounds if it (multi colored dry erase markers on light linen), but it did work.
