Kids books dealing with food or cooking

I am getting the Melissa and Doug chef dress up outfit for as a birthday gift. Any suggestions for accompanying books? or other ideas? I know they have a lot of the M&D play food already. I am looking for something in the $10 range.

I thought about Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, If you give a mouse a Cookie, etc.
