Kohls has some cute kids' beach towels cheap too. When I bought them a week ago for DS's birthday party, they had "boyish" ones in store (pirate octopus, surf wagon, pirate monkey, ocean scene) as well as the "girlish" ones in the link below. They were $7.99 then, plus the 30% off that expired yesterday. They're now $5.99, so if you have Kohls cash or a promo code, you could probably get them for $4-$5. For the ones available online, KCSHOP15 should give you 15% off, plus ebates is 6%.

Just FYI, the TRU ones are very thin - I got them a few weeks ago when they were on sale for $5 and was very unimpressed. I will check out the ones at Kohl's - we have some from them from a couple of years ago that I absolutley love - much thicker material and have held up very well.

They have some good sales right now, although lots of their prices are high even with the extra 20% off clearance. I am kind of tempted by the Geotrax Christmas set. It's about $48, which is a good price.

Thank you for posting! I was JUST thinking today that I should probably pick up a beach towel for DS2 on sale this season before he starts swim lessons next summer. AND, my local TRU had the lobster towel available for free in-store pickup! :yay:

I got thin beach towels at Target last wk for only $5 each. They aren't as kiddish looking (dots or strips) if anyone is wanting ones for themselves.

Tried to order 4 towels as well as a few other items that were an additional 20% off and couldn't figure out why the price of the towels went back up. Read the offer "details" and you can only have 5 items per order with 20% off. So if you'd like to buy more than 5, it has to be multiple orders.

And thanks to PP about the kohls towels. I have some kohls cash to spend and may get those instead. I think they'll be thicker and perhaps larger and I liked the designs.
