Im trying to sell my MB Swift on craiglists for weeks now and no one has responded. Its a 2010 Lime and almost brand new. Nothing is broken or worn out (it still looks like it just came out of the box).
I used it as a second stroller and only about a dozen times. My asking price is $300. Is the price my issue?

$300 would be high for me for a Swift especially because Mountain Buggy isn't as well known of a brand compared to Bob. I've seen them on sale for $300 to $350 new. I think $250 would be a better asking price.

Make sure that your stroller is clean and that the pictures are really great. Good marketing goes a long way. Here is an example:

Since the Swift retails for $450, I would list it anywhere from $225-275.

$300 is too high. Or you could put "$300 negotiable".

I had trouble selling my MB Swifts (I had a 2009 and sold it to buy a 2010 for the better canopy, then sold that to get a Bumbleride Indie) on the San Francisco CL. I think they just aren't as well known and don't have the resale value of a Bob or a Bumbleride Indie.

I eventually sold each of mine for right around $275-300, but it took stellar pictures and really well-written ads (mentioning comparable strollers, ie, "smaller than a bob. . . Air tires for a smoother ride than a baby jogger city mini"). Also mine were each just a year old when I sold.

Good luck!

Im having trouble selling my duet. Sadly it's not as popular a brand around here.

I'm trying to get $500 which includes useful extras. Ive had it up for a few weeks so I think I need to drop to $450 soon, sadly.
