View Full Version : Foot Injury - need workout recs!

Can anyone recommend a good home workout for someone with a foot injury? I have been running and doing the 30 day shred but I hurt my foot- not even sure how – and now have pain on the sole/ball of my foot. I spoke with a PT friend who advised me to ice it, do some stretches, and said that it can be a few weeks before I can start running again. The 30 day shred is also out because of all the jumping. Does anyone have any exercise (dvds) to recommend?

I think squats might be too weight bearing on my feet.

I assume you don't want to have to head to a pool, but aquatics would probably be a better option (clear with your PT for your diagnosis). Swimming, pool exercise (deep water running and other exercises), etc. don't involve a lot of weight bearing. Obviously I don't know what injury you are dealing with, so clear with your care provider or PT friend.
