DS LOVES green but I'm having a hard time finding a backpack in that color.

Do you think this one is too feminine in fern?

Nope, not too feminine at all and I doubt the preschool crowd would even care anyway. Cute backpack!

Very gender neutral.
And I agree - at DD's preschool there are boys with pink lunchboxes, etc.

That is a GREAT color - not girly at all! Love it!

No, I actually think it's more masculine than feminine. :)
My DD also loves green, but dark green. Green is hard enough to find for girls, but dark green is almost impossible unless it's like camo or something very boyish. I just ordered her the ice blue backpack jr. from LLBean; hope it looks (more sea greenish) like it does in the picture, instead of more blue like the name implies.

You're the one who pointed me to the Kelty, hillview! Thanks for recommending them, as the other major sites didn't have anything plain green (except for the PBK listed above, and for some reason I didn't want to go with them)

That would totally work for a boy or girl.

I completely agree with pp. Great color and not feminine at all.
