I've had tons of pump type dispensers, and inevitably, they all end up clogging up with gook on the outside and looking nasty and eventually just falling apart. I don't like the ones that are refashioned olive oil dispensers...seems like too much time/trouble to get the soap out.

Can anyone recommend a good looking dish soap dispenser that works well and hold up? Thx!

I just use the soap bottle that the soap came in. I know it looks ugly, but it works. Yes the olive oil ones are a pain to get the soap out of.

I've been reusing a suave hand soap dispenser for about 10 years now. Nothing exciting, but it's so easy. :)

I have a cuisinart one that works fine for us. No clogging problems in the 2+ years we've had it. But you might want to try increasing your water to soap ratio.

This is what I do too. But one of these days I'm going to get a can of spray paint & do this:

Our OXO dispenser w (http://www.amazon.com/OXO-1068654-Profile-Lotion-Dispenser/dp/B001QTVXFK)orked great until the kids dropped it. When I get around to it, I'll get another at BBB (w/coupon).

I like that OXO one, too...thx for the link! Just trying to get away from the plastic bottle look...we need new counter tops SO badly, anything to make it look better will be welcomed!

Just to clarify, the part that broke was the top push button, so it wasn't like it cracked in half and poured soap everywhere. I had it for almost three years before that incident, so I'm satisfied with it. :) Very easy to wash off any drips on it as well.

We've had this one for about a year now. It's never clogged. My only issue with it is you have to be sure to wipe under the spout if you push it down all the way, otherwise soap drips onto the counter and DH NEVER wipes it. :tongue5:
