This is an amazon local deal. May be for everywhere, but I saw it in the Orlando and Tampa FL locals.
Purchase or rental must be 3.99 or more to use the voucher.

Has anyone used this yet? What did you buy/rent?

What's the point of buying, if we can stream the movie for free... are we then able to download the movie and watch without an Internet connection?

Yes. Then you "own" the movie (if you buy not rent) like with iTunes.

You can't stream all movies for free, only a select number. And you can only stream movies for free if you have paid Prime.

I used mine...I rented "50/50". I haven't watched it yet.

We used our code to rent a movie...Man on a Ledge. It was pretty good but I didn't have real high expectations.

We have only bought a few digital copies of movies. We only buy ones that we can't get streamed for free.. for example, we bought Cars 2. I don't know if it connects to the internet to play it or not but it's in "our library" The digital copy was half the price of the dvd and we wanted to watch it instantly.
