Ugh! Our OM has NONE of these except the comp books. I really need the poly folders.

Staples - 12 pk sticky notes (90 per pad) $5

This is not quite as good as last year when they were 18 for $5, but still much better than the BTS prices at WM and TGT.

Walgreens (some require coupon from flyer which you can usually get at the store):

5-tab dividers $0.39
Jumbo glue sticks (ad says 2 oz, but they are 0.7 oz) $0.39
8-pk Expos $4.99 <- same as Walmart price (4/$2.50), but these have other colors: pink, purple, brown, orange.

That's all that jumped out at me as a good deal. :)

Oh, that stinks! Someone else had them, but not as cheap. I want to say it was Target

I agree- it's pretty pathetic

In some areas of the country (not mine!), the Walgreens ad has an extra couple of pages that includes a 2-pack of Expo dry erase markers for .99 and a 12-pack of Sharpies (different colors) for $4.99.

Walgreens has Bic Cristal pens for .49 per 10-pack with in-ad coupon. There is a manufacturer's coupon out there for $1 off two packs, which would make these free. I think it's on coupons.com.

Are the original crayola markers (75 cents at Staples) washable?

No, they're not. (at least according to the flyers). I don't think I've ever seen washables that cheap.

Target has poly folders for 49 cents.

That's what I ended up getting. I know I only paid 25 cents last year, so I'm hoping we will see that again and I can return these. Only a week until school starts, though.

I noticed that Staples had 72 Ticonderoga pencils for $10, if you have the BTS savings pass it would be $8.50 so 11.8 cents a pencil. I wish I had gotten the Walgreens deal last week (10 cents each), but this is slightly better than Target ($3 for 24 so 12.5 cents each or 11.9 cents with the Red Card).

.25 Bic gel pens

Pentel Hi Polymer erasers (I hear these are great)

The .25 Bic gel pens were sold out at my Staples by 1:00pm on Sunday.
Unfortunately, I did not get there until 5:30pm.

The Pentel Hi Polymer erasers are the ONLY erasers that I will buy. They
are wonderful. I keep them stocked in my house at all times.
I may even go back to Staples and buy enough for everyone in my kids'
classes.

Thanks for the heads up about the coupon!! I had these pens circled
in my Walgreens flyer since my son needs a green pen!

The ad says limit of 2 for each item. I was going to PM at Target. I don't know how particular either store is about these limits though.

FWIW our Dollar Tree often has them $1 each. I need one for myself and keep forgetting to check.

Do you know what kind of glue is on sale? I like to just price match to Walmart for ease.

Is the filler paper blank computer paper?

So glad that you mentioned the Swingline paper trimmer!! I went
yesterday and I bought the last one in the store! Thank you!! :)

Almost bought the swingline trimmer at OD, and then read the reviews online at OD. I want a good trimmer, but even at $4, if it ends up in the trash within a short period of time, not worth it to me.
