Anyone with a Keekaroo have issues with the seat belt straps?

Hi all! I bought a Keekaroo awhile back and the only thing I really don't like is the harness. Seems it's too big and I can't get it adjusted properly. It's hard to explain, but when I tried to make the straps tighter, they just hang out the back and aren't really adjusting properly. Any advice?? I want to make sure my little guy is secure in there.

I'm not sure I can be of much help; we have a Keekaroo that we got when DD was probably just under 1, but we've never had a problem with the straps. Maybe if you take a picture of what you're doing? Are you confident they're installed correctly?

ETA: Sorry, just realized this is the stroller forum. We have a Keekaroo high chair, not stroller, so I definitely am no help.
