Labeling Tagless T's

I'm trying to pick some labels for DD's first foray into school. Most of the companies mention labels you can attach to the tag. Most of DD's tips are Tagless or she has me cut out the tags. Since there is no tag, sharpie will show. Do the labels work right on the clothing?

Do the shirts have washing labels in the side seams?

Name Bubbles stick on to the clothing. We have them for Lula's school uniforms and they are great.

I've used name bubbles and Label Daddy labels right on the clothing.

I use a permanent fabric marker i got at Joann's.

My DD can't stand tags anywhere, so i have been cutting them out and writing the size in there since she could pull on her clothes!
