Eek! Thanks for posting! We had our first bagged apples on the way home from Disney earlier this week. We had $1.99 Happy Meals, and DS1's said, "Hey, why's that woman giving us lunch in a box?"(I felt a bit of a mom victory here.) They said they tasted weird, but I explained how cut apples will either have something like juice on them OR they'll be brown. They will have to deal with it and just eat them. No one has been sick yet, so I hope it isn't in our future!

Yippee...Ds just had a package from Burger King yesterday. Usually I applaud his preference for fruit....

great...........we always get the apple slices...usually two bags for each girl since we don't get the fries for them. I think we've been doing Wendy's the last few times though....so I think we're okay.

Fortunately, there have been no illnesses reported. It's a precautionary recall since they found Listeria on equipment. Still, I wouldn't eat them knowing that and I hope all the restaurants and stores stop selling them.
