Any suggestions? We have 4 to buy in the next few weeks and I haven't been able to come up with any great ideas.

Thanks!

I've been doing legos for everyone. Lots of cool "boy" sets (that some girls would love too) but if you're concerned with girlier options I've had great luck with the Lego Friends line. My boys and their nieces both think they are awesome.

I am into the boys scene. Here are my ideas:
Balloon Rockets
Bases (Frankin set)
Goals - Target Set
Remote Control Helicopers - keep going on sale on Amazon for less than $20 THEY ROCK!!!
Legos
Light Sabers
Nerf Stuff
Kaskey Kids Sets -$24.99 - Baseball Guys, Football Guys, Hockey Guys, Soccer Guys
Playmobile Sport Guy sets (my 6 year old saw these the other day and coming off an Olympic high these would be perfect!)
Latest release Disney Movie - I dress it up with candy and popcorn
Kidz Bop latest release and a package of Glow Sticks - Glow Stick Dance Parties are our summer favorite activity
Beach Towels - tis the season
Paula Dean Kids Cookbook - I thought my Aunt was CRAZY when she bought it for my son at age 6 and 3 years later still a HUGE hit - their got to when I ask them what they want for dinner is to get this and we make dinner together. It is not a 'healthy' cookbook, but it add diversity to their diet and extreme satisfaction
Gift Certificate for local hot spot (i.e., ice cream joint)
Super Soakers are a gift we have received and I don't care if we have a ton, there never seems to be enough filled and ready.

Hope this helps.

I just bought 4 of these... http://www.amazon.com/Syma-S107-S107G-Helicopter-Yellow/dp/B004A8ZRB0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1344820322&sr=8-3&keywords=syma+helicopter

I know the age may be off, but they can do it with their parents.

Other ideas with links...
Bases http://exton.learningexpresstoys.com/buy/fra1985/mlb-rubber-base-set-by-franklin-sports/ Target has too
Balloon rockets http://exton.learningexpresstoys.com/buy/df82350/rocket-balloon-with-pump-50-pack/

Glow in the Dark balls (really only help at dusk - we have basketball, soccer and football ones, great for early evenings on the beach) http://www.amazon.com/Baden-Nite-Brite-Glow-Soccer/dp/B0025SQ4JG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1344820597&sr=8-4&keywords=baden+soccer and/or LED light up frisbees

My son and his friends are really in to Star Wars Trouble and Sorry.

Other ideas... bean bag toss and/or ladder ball sets. I have seen them on sale lately.

Can you tell we are well stocked on sporting gear?

My ds1 mainly plays with legos (also magnatiles and blocks), but we have a lot of legos and sometimes it is nice to get something totally different. A long the lines of something your son might like (so would like to give) would be a science kit? I also noticed there is a new type of beyblades out that can run on their sides?
