I'm an Idiot! How do I Turn Off my Ipod Touch?

Apparently I'm an idiot. :wavey: I've always known that I was technically challenged, but I can usually figure out how to turn something completely off. But the Ipod Touch (current version) has outwitted me.

Can someone explain it to me please?
