Which fan for dd's room?

The fan in DD's room fell off the ceiling a few weeks ago. The metal bracket that holds it up broke. It's harbor bay, so I do not want to use that brand. The ceiling is about 15' high, so it's kind of major to put a fan up. I bought a Casablanca fan at Tuesday Morning. It's 50" and looks like this:

This is for my daughter's room, but at some point it might be one of my son's room, so it needs to be pretty neutral. The walls are faux finished with tan paint and there is a little cave in the room.

I'd love to hear opinions and thoughts!

There is a light kit with the first one and it's in antique bronze.

One of the fans you linked to has a light and the other one doesn't. Will your fan have a light attached to it? I think either one works, but I kind of like the first one for a bedroom more.

We put Casablanca Stealth fans in all our bedrooms because supposedly they're the best fans you can get, or they were at the time (not sure where DH got that info... :rotflmao:)

We were all set to get a different, better looking fan, but DD's room is the hottest room in the house, so we got the Stealth! it has been great--we love the six speeds, light on a dimmer, and how super super quiet it is. it makes a *huge* difference. it worked out so well in DD's room, we got it in all our other bedrooms too.

In our living room we have a Casablanca fan that the previous owners put in the house. It isn't really our style (maple one similar to this one) (http://www.lampsplus.com/products/52-inch-casablanca-legacy-white-ceiling-fan-with-light-kit__79076-m3630-20998.html), but it is a great fan and we would definitely buy another one.

We put up a Hunter fan in DS2's room, and it's great. If you balance it right upon install then it's VERY quiet. If your doorknobs are silver then I'd stick with that on the fan. If you have wood floors or furniture then you might consider that when choosing the wood color fan blades. We just stuck with white fans (silver metal) in the bedrooms since the ceiling is white, and the door hardware is silver. My grandmother had faux wood fan blades so it looks dated to me.
