To make a long story short, I applied for a part time job on a whim and I got a call back! I have an interview on Monday. I have been out of the field of nursing for 9 yrs, so it's nice to know that my resume still caught their eye. I am just really nervous, since this is in a different field of nursing that I have never worked in (school nurse) and usually school nurse jobs are very competitive to get. I am trying to get my foot in the door and I'm also a little freaked out that the hrs will be very erratic, so childcare for DS3 may be hard to find. I'm just hoping that things go well and that part time childcare won't be a huge issue. We don't really need the extra money right now, but I'd like to transition back into working at least part time again, to preserve my career and wouldn't mind padding our savings. I've been waiting for a school nurse job to open up for years, so I feel like this is it.
