As a huge fan of Sesame Street -- like fanatic as much as I love Star Trek, I love Sesame Street, this is a huge blow.

78 is a pretty high number. I can't count the number of times I've sung along with the Count. :rotflmao:
Seriously though, he will be missed. He was wonderful. RIP Jerry Nelson.

So sad. I miss the old Sesame Street. Sometimes I go to youtube and watch Me and My Llama just to reminisce!

Aw, he will be missed. He was probably my favorite sesame street character. I love his laugh!

OH I forgot about him! That wasn't the count, though. Wasn't his name Marvin the Magician? I'd have to check that out. But yep, I think that was Jerry Nelson too. So sad to see a couple more of my favorite characters die.
Of course, I still desperately miss Kermit. :crying:

Grover was actually my favorite--and I am STILL ticked that they replaced him with Elmo--barf.

He's back and just as awesome as ever as Super Grover

Hey was alot of people, including Statler and one of my favorites, Herry Monster.
Elmo didn't replace anyone, but he sure is prooooolific these days, yes. I love little Elmo, but I could do with more Ernie & Bert and definitely Grover, yes! But Grover was on Good Afternoon America the other day, so that was nice to see him out there.
