what to read aloud after "Wind in the Willows"

DS1 (7) is LOVING "Wind in the Willows" -- we are needing an awesome follow up book (to help me avoid having to read the Underpants series again!).

THat's a great one! I read that to DS1 a few years go but DD was too young at the time. We need to revisit it :love-retry:

The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles was a fave of both kids when we read it a few months ago. Very magical and one of our all-time favorites.
