I have put a hold on the America's Test Kitchen slow cooker recipe book at my library, but I am looking for some more suggestions. I already have one of Mabel Hoffman's books, as well as 1400 or so recipe compilation from Fix It & Forget It.

Bonus points for a good variety and something that isn't 100% beef stews or pot roast (I am not a fan of either).

well, i was gonna rec the best recipes one, but you've got it on hold. i really like it. hmm.

i've heard good things about the websites, but i'm not sure if it was one or the other or both - crockpot365.blogspot.com and 365daysofcrockpot.com - maybe try them too.

I've found some good recipes on the 365crockpot blog.
We also like Not Your Mother's Slow Cooker Cookbook. It has a good variety of recipes, definitely not all pot roast and stew!

Cooking light one is pretty good. I have one called gourmet slow cooker (I think) that is tasty but a lot of prep work.
