Ds1 has gotten into things like the Bermuda Triangle and other mysteries. Can anyone point us to some good books that are appropriate for a 5th grader? The librarian was no help today! Amazon has a lot of possibilities but too many to weed through easily.

No specific book ideas here but Usborne books would be a good place to start looking because that is the sort of thing they do really well.

Cool nonfiction author-- Will Hobbs. He has a great website, too... Or were you thinking more mysteries?

My 10 year old has been enjoying this series. They're sort of in the same vein. I think they're a little on the easy side for him in terms of reading level, but they're a match interest wise.
