My neighbor's son is two years older than ds1 and is outgrowing his Haro 20 inch bike. Ds is outgrowing his Specialized 16. We will pass down the Specialized 16 to ds2 next Spring/Summer and I planned on purchasing a new Specialized 20 inch for ds1. I need a bike to last 6 plus years. Do you think a Haro that's been in use for 2 years will hold up well for another 6 years? Also, we haven't talked price yet so I have no idea what she will be selling it for, but what should I expect?

DS has a 20" Haro. It's a really nice, quality bike. I don't know how much they go for used but it was about 230$ new.

my 11 yr old has a mens Haro bike and it is really a nice bike! I would consider it depending on how much they are asking for it.

Thanks. I am not as familiar with Haro as I am with Specialized or Trek.

Dd2 has a haro 16, it was around $200 with tax. It's heavy and she never rides it. DD2 always had treks or specialized. I prefer them to Haro.

Haro is a quality brand that you will find in a bicycle shop.
As long as the bike was taken care of well, it should last for many more years.
