I use them at work....very sturdy, well made, and can be tilted to spin on a slight angle or made flat very easily.....it says kneeling and standing are ways to spin, but standing might be a little tough, IMO!!!

Just seeing this. Thank you for responding! Do you think it would be okay for a very energetic 3 (almost 4) year old?
