DS1 had a routine follow up appointment with with our pediatrician yesterday.

The doctor saw something in his ear that could possibly be a cholesteatoma.

If you can spare some p&pt for DS1 I'd really appreciate it.

We have an ENT appointment Friday and a second opinion scheduled for Monday.

Here's hoping it's nothing!

I really appreciate the good thoughts.

I'm trying so hard to stay calm & not to worry about a potential problem before we even know if anything is wrong.

My ped said this could be nothing at all and I need to focus on that, and stay away from Google!

I totally agree with your pediatrician - stay AWAY from Google!

When you meet with the ENT, you can ask your terrified mama questions then and ask if there's a good place he/she recommends for resources to help you cope.
