The fourth and final book in the series was released this week. It's called Son and wraps up all the loose ends from the first 3books. I just started reading it yesterday and its great so far, but I do feel like I should stop, go back and read the first 3 again to make all the missing pieces fresh in my mind.

What's the recommended reading age for these books?

I would say late grade school or middle school. There is some serious subject matter in them that younger children wouldn't understand.

Thanks. My DD, who is 9.5 and a voracious reader has been begging to read the Hunger Games series but I want her to wait until MS. Sounds like these are similar.
