Yard Sale WWYD

We were planning on having a yardsale this Saturday, but the forecast called for rain, so we decided not to place the ad in the paper. Well, now it's supposed to be nice.

Do you think we should risk doing the yard sale without having an ad in the paper? We don't live on a very busy street, but there is a huge estate sale fairly close and we would probably get some people from that, depending on where we put up our signs.

We've never done an ad. We do craigslist, post on facebook to spread the word and that's enough.

Place an ad in Craigslist and put signs around the estate sale directing people to your sale

I overheard some people talking yard sales yesterday, and they were saying CL is the way to go.

Craigslist! I also posted on the boards of my mommy groups. Sometimes there is a bulletin board in the supermarket (I forgot that!). But most of all, signs out there and CL all the way.

Craigslist and then put lots of signs out. Just even write SALE and then your address on them. :)
