I really recommend the books on the Monarch list each year. Of course I am an Illinois librarian but the books are really good. Selected by librarians each year. Award is for K-3.

Thank you for posting. Just put a few in my Amazon cart for Christmas. I strongly recommend Panda Kindergarten from the 2012 list - great book!
