I get it that I was lucky to get to spend the weekend away with my best friend, but please note the following: I took two of our three children WITH ME, and spent more than 10 hours in the car getting there and back. You stayed home with ONE kid, spent one entire day hanging out with your friends, your mom cooked you dinner one night, and you did ZERO grocery shopping or housework while I was gone. I also arranged for the childcare you required when you told me - 48 hours before I left - that you actually DIDN'T have Columbus Day off like you thought you did. So please stop acting like you did me a favor by "letting" me go away. I did YOU a favor by not leaving all three kids with you.
