we will be going to disneyland in CA along with universal studios and sea world (san diego). Are there any deals I could be looking at?

If you aren't going with a military member, then you may want to look into the So Cal CityPASS (http://www.citypass.com/southern-california). It's a 3-day Disneyland Park-Hopper (allowing you entry into California Adventure and the original Disneyland Park), SeaWorld (1 day), and Universal Studios (1 day).

$279 for adults, $239 for kids 3-9yo.

However, if there's a military member traveling with you, then the savings aren't nearly as great.

no military member with us. But we won't be doing cal adventure or legoland (does that cover it?). wondering if there are other options.

California Adventure is, basically, another side of Disneyland. They are at the same place. While you may not expect to want to go to California Adventure, once you're there, you may change your mind. And, realistically, the CityPass, with it's park hopper, is still the best deal.

It doesn't cover Legoland.
