I had been more or less planning to get dd a wood play kitchen for Christmas. But I am thinking maybe this should be an outside toy instead. It would go in a spot with a roof over it so it would get decent protection from sun and some protection from rain (no snow, never below freezing where we live).

Cheap is good. :D. I will look on CL for used in good shape, but in case I come up empty, any specific suggestions or thoughts on what to look for?

Thanks!
Catherine

Step 2 Lifestyle. We bought it 9 years ago and it has held up great. I love all the bells and whistles it has- I always lamented only having a boring wooden one as a kid when there were cooler ones with sound effects out there!

Oh, I am way too mean to let the sound effects happen. Batteries will come out. Sorry.

Thanks for the suggestion!

They're nice sounds...popcorn popping, water boiling- try them first. :)
