Its billed as a run/walk which is why i feel i can do it. DS1 is doing it with me....it's going to be cold.....

Hoping to jog 1 mile and power walk the rest!

DS1 and I did it together, and we finished it mostly walking/jogging. However...it was basically entirely in the woods! So we're talking..uneven surfaces, ruts, mud, leaves...sand (!). You name it....oh yeah and a few deer!

At one point....clearly DS & I were "last" but DS said it's OK if we're last because it's not about winning it's about having fun and finishing it...and we ARE having fun, mom!" But I want to know who all the people were that started behind us....but never passed us....but we were definitely last!

Oh well...we did it, i can say I did it..and we can only improve from here!

BTW the ben & jerry's samples at the end were really good!
