Would you wear short boots with a dress?

I got these short boots (http://www.amazon.com/FRYE-Womens-Carson-Shortie-Ankle/dp/B003FZAX5O) from the Frye sale and I love them but not sure what to wear them with.

When the weather was warmer, I wore them with above the knee skirts and they looked good.

I wear my short boots with everything, even dresses. I have the Frye's with the ties in the back. Your boots are cute too!

I like the look, particularly with a more bohemian style dress...but my legs are short and look stumpy with the combination. I might try it if I were wearing tights in the same color as the boots though.

I did wear it out to dinner and dh thought it looked great.
I felt like some women were staring but dh assured me it was because they were jealous ;)
