DD2 is 5 and lives to play the adult Yahtzee with us. It has really helped her counting skills! We also play various card games. Her sister is 17 so I have been out of the game loop for some time...and sister lost all the pieces to her life, monopoly and other games (grrr).

Can u Rec some games that we can play together or she can play with friends? I'm not a fan of the "spongebob life" or character versions of classics. Unless in the past few years they have changed.

Tia!

Our favorites are: blokus, sorry, UNO. We don't have UNO Attack but they loved it at family party. They can play chinese checkers, but that can be a little tedious (the ones with pegs less so). I keep forgetting to try Jenga. They also like doing hard puzzles with us, we just don't have the table space to keep it going.

We love games!

p.s. Our kids are also 12 years apart!

We like Trouble, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Zingo, Snack Attack, Hedbanz, Curious George Discovery Beach, Curious George Hide and Seek Zoo (both of these have very little to do with Curious George, especially Discovery Beach, where his pic is on the box, but that's it - they are both very good games), Monopoly Jr and Busytown. Honestly, I enjoy all of them too!

My 4 y/o likes to play chess too! I'm glad DH likes it because I can't stand it. He's also a fan of Uno. I really like the classic edition (http://www.amazon.com/40th-Anniversary-Edition-Card-Game/dp/B0049B4DNQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350875613&sr=8-1&keywords=uno+classic) we got courtesy of the BBB last year and I'm sad to see it is $$$ now. ETA: He also likes Sequence for Kids.
